Five Frequently Asked Questions regarding Mutual Funds

Kabayan,5 faqs (1)

Here you go.

Fund type

Expected Return

Equity Fund (stocks)

6%  to 18% or more

Balanced Fund (bonds)

5% to 8%

Money Market Fund (treasury bills)

3% to 6%

Remember, this is not guaranteed kasi may kasamang RISK ang bawat investments. Ang good news, over the long term, mutual funds outperform traditional time deposits.

Sagot: Hindi. Ang mutual fund is not a deposit product but rather an investment product. However, kung ikaw ay mutual fund shareholder you are entitled to the proportional share ng total assets of the fund. Ang PDIC can only insure up to php 500,000 even the deposit is more than 500k na.

  1. Taxable ba ang gains ng mutual fund?

Sagot: Hindi ito taxable. Exempted ang gains ng mutual fund from taxes based on CTRP.
